In order for this to be achieved we must employ the right individual.

We understand that having a qualification is a pre-requisite for someone to start in the fitness industry but we firmly believe that it’s more important to find someone who has the right attributes to look after our members. So if you care about motivating people to reach their goals, are friendly, empathetic and outgoing, then we may have a position for you.

The Fitness Zone carries out individual and group training with its staff based on everything from exercise prescription, anatomy & physiology, nutrition to membership sales and club management.

All staff from the most junior to the most senior manager must undergo The Fitness Zone in-house examinations, based on all procedures detailed in our Staff Training Handbooks. These relate to the club controls, looking after members, class formats and any procedure that contributes to the effective running of the club.

The Fitness Zone has a policy of promoting its staff from within and this is achieved by staff improving their Accreditation level, following the Staff Accreditation Scheme, which provides a continual re-appraisal of performance and gives all staff the motivation to improve and develop within the company.
